The Mercedes SLK230 headlight assembly is very easy to remove and replace. This video shows the steps to remove the driver side assembly, the passenger is the same only mirrored. This procedure is the same on all Mercedes-Benz SLK 230 Kompressor 1998-2004 (r170 generation) with a Bosch C7830WS. This was performed on a 2003 SLK230 Kompressor, yours will be very similar.

On my 2001 , I had to remove the side turn indicator assembly to access a 3rd screw on the headlight assembly
I need to change igniters in my HID headlights. I cannot find info on these headlights. I also can't find after market LED or HALO lights that will work with factory HID wiring. Please help.

another important question: can the headlight be adjusted so that it does not aim the beam too high, too low, etc. I remember when headlights used to be calibrated, but I don't hear about that any more.thanks
