K Jr says:

So I got the belt off but the belt acts as though it doesn’t want to go back on after changing alternator. Possibly bigger pulley on my alternator? I’m pretty sure they were the same exact size.

Marvin barksdale says:

Hi Sir about how much does the parts and labor cost in that? I am interested in a 2002 C240 but the gentleman says the belt is squealing and it may be too loose or too tight. I just spoke to a family friend/mechanic and he said, “could be Tensioner.

Fernando Hernandez says:

Hi I have a 2010 E350 4matic the belt broke causing the top pulley to get stuck and shatter. watching your video I decided to replace the 2 pulleys and the tensioner, a week later the belt broke again. The installation was done according to your video and replacing the parts one by one, double checking the diagram and adjusting tights the bolts. I bought a more expensive belt thinking that the one I bought was defective, I drove back to my house another 45 miles and again it was about to break into pieces. Does anyone know or have any idea what the problem may be?

Donny Foster says:

I changed my belt on my E350, I did myself and after 2-3,000 miles 2-3 months old, my belt frayed last night. It was a Duralast belt from Autozone. Stay away from Duralast that’s my experience with it…. Anyone recommend a good belt?

Peanut Man says:

Why did you need to change the tensioner and pulley and not just the belt

G Lasser says:

CRP OEM grade idlers and tensioners:
– What brand ball bearings do they use?
– Is the life span as short as Benz original mount?

My plastic idlers with dried out bearing grease is starting to woble and make noise at 45kMi… pathetic 3rd world grade.

blu juju says:

its impossible to see what you are doing – where is the bolt?
