I have 06 E55 and after some driving, car stutters and lose power as if it's going into a limp mode.
It was a scary feeling, I thought the car was going to stole or break down.
Will IC pump replacement fix this issue?
Car seems to run fine after cold start but happens after a long drive.

Hi are there any cons to swapping this pump out? I just bought a crash damaged 2003 E55 that Im restoring and I'm just wondering if its worth doing while im in there?

Thanks for the excellent tutorial, used this when I replaced my pump which was from 2002 and completely disfunctional with this Bosch 010 version. I couldn't get the pump to actuate with Xentry nor was I able to power it up due to the close proximity of the contacts so I put everything back together and did not bleed the system. It seems to have self bled and runs perfectly fine for 3.000km now with much reduced temperatures. My car is a 2005 E55 Wagon.
after installing a new ic pump does the system need to be bleeded? (sl55 amg)
