Victor… My trunk doesn’t close but the doors do — I understand that it a
separate pump located in the trunk for the deck lid; the major pump in my
140 is located under the passenger seat; am I correct?

EndofUSA says:

victor how much do you charge to repair the door assist pump?

EndofUSA says:

Victor would you mind doing a part 2 of this door assist pump repair. I
would like to see it now actually closing the door of the benz by itself.
thank you

My w220 also stopped working, no door assist,CL,air seats or rear headrest
operation…needed a new pump. A costly affair indeed

My 95 Mercedes S320 central locking system died just yesterday. First I
checked the the fuses, they were fine. Then I opened the back seat and
located the pump. My problem is what to do next? Is the pump dead? When I
use the key the doors won’t open/close. The central locking switch located
on the dashboard does not work either. The second issue is that the door
close assist also is malfunctioning. It works when I reset the fuse located
in the trunk for a brief while and then dies.Suggestions?

I ended up finding tiny rapture in diaphragm. Didn’t use silicone at all.
What I did is cut a piece of my blue glove ( use very high quality gloves)
and inserted cut piece of glove behind diaphragm and rear valve case.
Because the rapture was tiny, around 1/32″ or 1mm, I think glove rubber
will hold on for some time. Pump was installed back in the car and works
without resets.

how did you get the little clips that hold the diaphragm and the pressure
line with the valves apart that you talk about at 5:59. i am thinking i
have a leak in the same area, and cannot get the little clips apart.
