hmm if you’ve put everything bad together correctly you may have gotten the
wrong part. Before taking anything back out take the box with the part
number of the new pulley and your vin # to the part store and have them
verify its the correct part. GL
hi. have a 1998 c230 and am only owner. it DID not have belt tensioner
strut. i replaced the tensioner mech with a new one that takes a strut. i
put it all together and now the pulley rubs against the strut. what should
i do?
hey thanks it was really helpful. My strut is totally missing and my
tensioner puller is chirping. I hope this will fix the problem
