No, wire only works on older vintage cars that have rubber seals holding
the glass in.. There is not enough lip for you to open up and get pain
behind. Thanks Pete
Nice job on the scratches and new backroung music that foam tape is great
to used when used right i call it dart tape because its kind of like the
foam they use to make darts
jobs like that, basic euro collision stuff i clear with a full size sata
2000 gravity gun with a 1.0 set up, super smooth from the gun, no colour
sanding required, just nib any trash out
ps, that foam tape, when you place it in the jamb, dont have it so the glue
edge comes into contact with the fresh paint, it can melt it and make a
messy line, waterbourne can react with some gluey bits if placed correctly
the closing of the panel should squeeze it so the foam edge is the Paint
side edge 3M also do a STT, soft transition tape, its on youtube, basically
a harder flat tape with a glue ridge you can pull off once for the base
then the second for the clear, leaves no edge in jambs
I just got the whole idea on back taping….. Good tip.. I probably painted
things and would up with a “Box” w/ sharp edges 100’s of times. I didnt
know there was a way around it. Thanks pete!

Does a wire-under-window-rubber-trick also work on new cars like this?
Haha, you always pick the right music for the moment. FUCK why do you gotta
be in Texas.
