Hey I am working on a 1999 c230k and I want to install lower fog lamps cuz mine didn’t come with any do you have any tips..cuz I’ve been to the junkyard searching for stock ones but I would put after market too..thanks for your videos you have save me a lot of money…MercAmg from Chicago.
I have an important question, i replaced my bulbs the other day on my 97 c230, and had noticed the metal spring clamp that keeps the socket in place before you attach the plastic cover was missing on the passenger side, do you know where i can purchase one?
LED bulbs for foglights would have to be high power (6 watts or more ) ,they are available..the new bulbs I used were just plain halogen not HID…if you get the higher brightness halogens (silver stars..etc.) they are brighter
hi! I have w202 1998 with same problem. I wanted to ask you is the new bulb a High-intensity discharge one (HID lamps)? Did it make a difference ? What do you think about using LED bulb?
Thanks for all the videos about w202 they are very informative and helpful.
are both not working ?? there is only 1 rear fog light although the other side has a dual filiment bulb and looks like it should work..it doesn’t..Mercedes assumed both fogs on would look like brake lights
Hi, im having trouble getting my rear fog lights to work. Am i right in thinking its the bulb at the top of the rear cluster. The bulbs ive tested and they work fine. Im thinking loose wire ??

I’m not sure if the dealership would have one separate from the whole assembly…your best bet would be a wrecking yard
