CANBus equipped is a industry term. It doesnt really use the CANBus network. it just means that the LEDs have resistors to bump up the power usage on the circuit to the same level used by the halogen bulbs. This way they dont throw error codes when the computer checks.

I’m very confused by the term “CANbus resistor Packed LED” Why do these lights need to communicate on the vehicle data bus? Where is the host processor and controller hardware? Are they in a separate module?
