The oils I use in that engine are listed in the Mercedes-BeVo
(Betriebsstoff-Vorschriften); I also prefer and select oils with 0W-40 or
5W-40 viscosity. Here are the mercedes lists with approved oil products:
https://bevo.mercedes-benz.com/bevolisten/229.31_de.html
https://bevo.mercedes-benz.com/bevolisten/229.51_de.html
229.31 is for 15.000 km or every year oil change;
229.51 is for 25.000 km or every two years oil change.
11.4l/100km?? That’s waaay to much
Mechanic porn :)

Dear Dextrogenelf, please tell me what kind of oil you pour into the
engine?And why you do not use original parts? Thanks.
Verbraucht der wirklich 11 Liter auf 100?

Looks so much easier to do on the OM648 I6 VS the OM642 V6, the air box on
them are a PITA to get to and replace, and oil change is pretty much the
same. Nice job!
Der Filter hat russische wörter auch:)
Warum ziehst du den ölfilter so bombig fest ?
Thanks man .. But I wanted to ask you about a problem I have. I can smell
