Musiktrick, not sure if you mean oil is shooting from your oil filter
housing. If it is make sure your O ring is on correct and the housing is
threaded on correctly (not cross threaded) and make sure to tighten it snug
enough (not to an extreme). Check to make sure it’s motor oil and left me
know more details.

James Zimmerman says:

Also guys make sure to put a drop of clean oil on all ur o rings, helps seal
better..

Chris Dejarme says:

Very helpful information. You even showed how to reset the service light.
Thanks.

John S. Hameline says:

Thanks for your video, very informative. Did you ever find out what the
“extra” o-ring goes to? I have the same leftover from the Mann filter I
used. Seems odd, but no instructions, really.

musiktrik says:

hi i tried this yesterday and i think i messed up somewhere, long story
short now oil started shooting out near the filter area, any suggestion or
idea?

James Zimmerman says:

Jermaine thats ur power steering fluid. Im soon goin to attempt the 722.9
oil change. Silly theres no dipstick to fill. Im sure as hell not paying
$400 for the dealership to do it. Im sure its not as hard as people make it
sound..

Good vid…….

irod72002 says:

Yes, 5w-40. I used 0w40 last time, since it was on sell. The climate also
depends on the oil weight you want to use. I might have to pay for the
transmission flush, it’s more in depth and a pain since you have to fill it
from the bottom.

It’s labeled oil changing unit. To make it easier look under the
description for a direct link.

I have a 2010 C300 (W204). Whats the name of the device you used to extract
the oil? I would like to order one!

Jermaine Ducksworth says:

Thanks!

I hope you can make a video on how to change the tranny oil on this car.
Also the weight oil was 5/40 right? Thanks!

Jermaine Ducksworth says:

Your video was super helpful! That’s over $400 in savings for the 50k mile
maintance! One more question for you. What is the reservior located on the
right next to the oil filter and below the air intake tubing? The cap
doesn’t have a lable or anything on it. My guess is it’s either the
transmission fluid or power steering reservior. I’ve looked in my manuel
and couldn’t find it. Please help if you can!

Harry Beasor Jr says:

Great video. Just completed everything. Plus we did the cabin filter as
well. Took a little longer than we had hoped. Had a little difficulty with
the pump (same as the one you used). But once we got going it was a breeze.
Thanks!
