Is any information lost after changing the battery without a "obd battery maintainer"? Are the settings reset after changing the battery in this way? Thanks.
Worked great for our 2015 C300. Was able to buy the battery from Costco. Thanks!
After changing my battery i got engine light why?
Does it need programming like Bmw?
I was told if I change this myself I’ll have to reprogram the whole car mine is a 2016 is this true? Please let me know because their price for changing it here is insane.
thank you, I just did an obd ii and it said low power, which means soon I will be needing a new battery at 300 for a good one is a big hit for real, idk how much the genuine one cost at the dealer but most likely it is the same price.
I was told that you couldn’t replace the battery with an aftermarket one. otherwise warranty would be void. how true is this? Any insight?
What happens if after you change the battery the car doesn’t want to start ?
Excellent video.
When doing this do you need a radio code or do these not have radio codes and after battery is reconnected do the radio just work as normal.
Thanks
Awesome instructions and demo. Even the part about how tricky the lower screw was to replace! Thx!
Very clear instructions, thank you 🙂
How do you reset the battery health counter on the cars computer so it won’t overcharge the battery?
