A useful video. You don’t however mention that the oil that came out is
from the Transmission and how important it is to refill your transmission
after the rad change. You seem to use a very high ratio of anti-freeze, if
not pure from what I could see? Assume someone checked your work before you
drove the car?

Went well. Purchesed a nissans replacement online for $150. I did have to
saw off a bracket to get past fan but works really. Video helped out a lot!

What radiator brand did you use?

WeekendGearhead says:

How did it go?

WeekendGearhead says:

I can’t remember. When I just googled the part there was a $100 version of
the radiator and also a $300+ version. I bought the expensive one.

Not only do I kind of smack my tounge every once in while… I cough in
this vid. MUST WORK ON PUBLIC SPEAKING!

I’m not sure…. I have not refilled the transmission. I’m not a mechanic
so this job may have been out of my league. The ratio of anti freeze was
what was recommended by the guys at the auto parts shop. Should I take it
to a mercedes shop?

Hey, thanks for posting this! I am about to do the same operation and it’s
really helpful to see it done first.

Nice job. Going to attempt this on my 400e this weekend. Hope I don’t
totally F it up.
