One Man On Fire says:

@jcal5150 I used a mercedes spring compressor. The one from Kragen will not
work with the two long bolts/hooks. The one from autozone will not work
also.

TeckniX says:

What bushings did you use?

One Man On Fire says:

@TeckniX I used custom made poly bushings on a group buy

Hi Chris, If you don’t mind me asking, how much did you pay for the
polyurethane bushes please on a group buy? In reconditioning of the lower
control arm, what paint did you use? Thanks Cheers James

One Man On Fire says:

I made a new video that is longer and very detailed

One Man On Fire says:

I have a new video on my channel that list everything in really good detail
on how to do this. I picked up spring compressor on ebay (The brand was
Klan) for $225 shipped. Also please make sure to read the description area
for extra info. If you have more questions feel free to ask away.

jcal5150 says:

how did you compress the spring ??

One Man On Fire says:

Don’t do use that one its not safe because the long bolts on the side will
hit parts of the car and bend. Also the bolts won’t be equal length away
from each other (9 clock and 3 clock). In other words the bolt and hook
style will start sliding from 9 and 3 to 8 and 4 and so on. Trust me I’ve
tried going the cheep way using it and it wouldn’t work. I sent you a
message please check it out.

JDMprince says:

wait, sorry im a little confused.. why wont the spring compressor with the
long bolt that hooks on work? is the fitment different? I am planning on
putting lowering springs tomorrow and didnt think i would need a special
spring compressor

One Man On Fire says:

@jcal5150 I just checked my BJ and my PEX Ball joints from Autohouse AZ
that are less than 11 months old are ripped. If you get new BJ get oem.

jcal5150 says:
