These old cars always fascinate me. Who knows, those joints and tie rods could be the original ones for all we know. A testament to Mercedes’ quality. Well done again Kent!

That idler arm plagued me on my BMW. It was only when my Mot tester pointed it out to me (not a fail ) . What got me was how it only shows up when someone is in the car turning the wheel with weight on the car. In other words you need a 4 post lift or pit and an assistant to see it. What a difference it made. The car is now so easy to place precisely on the road.

Great video. I used to own an 83 300 TD wagon a long time ago and I've missed it so much. I've been bugging the neighbor of my best friend for the last couple years who has a beautiful 82 300 D. He finally is willing to consider an offer from me so I'm sure I'll be using your videos and kits to bring worn out parts back to new. Apparently it was owned by a movie star in Cali back in 82, whom I don't currently know, but I hope I get it. I'll definitely let you know. Thanks for providing such a great channel. Have a blessed day.
