Awesome video, just did my 63 passenger side. Followed step by step and now window is working better than before and no more noise…lol
Great instructions. I did what you said and rebuilt my regulator with a new cable kit too. Fixed my window for under 20 bucks.
Send me your paypal ID so I can send you some money for a few six packs. Jeffrey
Would the same process work for a 2006 c230 ?
Very very helpful and very clearly explained well done and thanks.

Great video! I have to replace the regulator for my 2008 C300. I ordered the part and it doesn't have the nut on it. I haven't had the time to do the job yet, but I haven't been able to find much on the subject. Would it be much different than the CLS? Also if anybody has a link to a tutorial, that would be really helpful.
Excellent help. Many thanks for such detailed instruction.
wow dude both my cables broke 2 days apart thanks for the video the dealer wants $1200 i can do this myself
Yes excellent video! I feel I can buy the part and do it myself.
I have to do both of my 2007 CLS 550 and one of the windows is the second time. Besides they were making a lot of noise before breaking completely like lack of oil or some! How can we avoid so much noise when opening it?
Awesome. Thanks for this video
Great video! I have to do both driver and passenger sides. Dealer wants $900 per side. Your video gives me the confidence that I can DIY it. Thanks.
Dziękuję bardzo :)!!!
Hello, i just replaced my window mechanism and now the window doesn't go down a bit when i open the door, and go up when the door is closed. How come ?
Brilliant video with very clear precise instructions.
Just wondering why you felt the need to replace the whole system? I replaced just my cable, i bought the kit off ebay for £10.99 in the UK the whole thing you replaced is around £180
I did have one problem though, my window seems to stick out a bit to far at the top so it kind of catches the rubber when i shut the door (when it tries to close fully) & also it seems like it needs to be further back towards the back of the car, the gap on passengers side is much smaller than on drivers side (the glass is much closer to the rear door glass)
any ideas on how to close this gap so it is the same as passenger side & also how to have the top of the glass inwards a bit further so it doesn't catch the rubber at the top when it closes fully
Thanks & great video 🙂
Would this be the same process for the front passenger side..?
Great display on how to do this! Looks fairly easy for someone who follows your instruction. At least it is all bolted together. My w203 c -class had the window regulator secured by rivets which were shared with the side airbags, such a pain. Glad I ran across your video!
