the fuel pump and filter are the exact same as on this video..the injectors are on the top side of the engine attached to the long metal fuel rail…If I get my hands on a c230 kompressor I will make some videos on it

What type of fuel filter do I get?
Got a 1993 M/B 190E 2.6 with CPI.Fuel filter has 17mm brass nuts on metal line connecting to metal threaded filter end. Having trouble sealing up the tank end of new filter. any tricks or aids on sealing up these connections besides re-braking & re-torquing or using the flat white teflon tape. also been adjusting position of line & filter which has same connector type/shape as the original. I can’t use You-tube to communicate please respond via mulabate@gmail.com. Can’t figure out You-tubeuseage

the fuel pump wiring goes from the pump through a rubber grommet in the body and is plugged in under the forward panel by the spare tire..when you lift the trunk liner to expose the spare tire you will see the fuel pump plug in connector in there..the rubber plug around the wire from under the car just pops out of the hole and the new one pops in..
i have another question. i was looking around and noticed theres an electrical connection on the fuel pump. how do i go about taking that out?
it is contained in the same mount with the filter and has 2 hoses and an electrical connection…just as simple as the filter..if you are doing the pump it is a good idea to do the filter at the same time since they are both mounted together
any idea on how to remove the fuel pump?

Thank you for great videos, all you have on your page help me a lot.I did my fuel filter and hoses two week ago.Just for those who want to change hoses its 7.5 mm and two are fitted.one between filter and pump and one from tank to pump have different inner diameter on both ends.Cost $55 at the dealer.Very strange, I dont see the purpose of it
is the filter of a C 250 TD located on the same place??
thanks.. While editing the video youtube had the suggested videos at the end..I clicked on one for another guy doing a w202 filter…we could have actually done them at the same time they are so similar..except his is a year old lol. He had the same issue with the centre filter mount screw. 🙂
