Tony T says:

I would never hit a bearing directly with a hammer.. Use block of wood between bearing and hammer or better still just use the press

BloodlineMedia says:

What kind of dickhead tightens suspension parts on a Mercedes with a fucking impact gun! TORQUE SPEC MUCH ?

Johnathan Waters says:

I noticed several mistakes in this tutorial, including not using NEW micro-encapsulated (self-locking) Hardware, nuts bolts etc. You must ALWAYS replace these items as per the Mercedes Benz FSM. I also didn't see a torque wrench used AT ALL!! This is critically important on some of the components! This is still a very well-produced and helpful video however. Just make sure to get the details right, or someone could be mislead and injured/killed as a result!

Ihsan Hassan says:

Bull shit it’s not as easy as it looks this job won’t take minutes more like all day every thing is ceased and bearing don’t come out that easy

MPDano says:

Looks a whole lot easier than replacing BMW X5 front bearings. Was a bit scared for the mechanic not using eyewear using that press or removing clips.

BMWm6e63 says:

Bad information because it doesn't show him torquing critical fasteners like the CV joint nut, caliper carrier and track rod end or even mentioning that it should be done. Very unprofessional!

sdpupsdad says:

Great video. Does this procedure apply to the follow on model W164?

Axx Axx says:

Is it possible to publish a video about the rear polbran switch for Mercedes

Joachim Michael says:

Sehr gut…

Angelo Jamaica says:

Since you did not show the bearing sleeve being removed from the spindle it must be best to let the people know they should order a spindle to begin with hence it is a 98 or so
Thank you awesome vid

I know that it says autodoc uk but he looks German.

Hung Nguyen says:

You made it looks so easy. I need that press tool. Did you also make a video for the rear bearing? Thanks for the great video.

cyronader says:

Fantastic! very helpful video.

Tony Nanni says:

I'm amazed that the hub came out that easy. I would have thought it would have to be pressed out of the inner race.

Tony Nanni says:

On the press sequence, did you first just get the bearing moving a little out toward the front before resetting with the more awkward mount to push it all the way out. Did you do this because once the bearing starts moving a little it will come much easier once started again?

Where are you prying with that little screwdriver when you remove the caliper?
