How to Install HIDs and Change the Headlights for a Mercedes-Benz | E-Class (w211)

In this video we’ll swapping out the old E-Class Headlights for new ones. We’ll also go over on how to install HIDs in your car.

Bulb size for the E-Class (w211) is H7
This is for both low and high beam.
(Low Beam is the one your car uses every time you turn on the lights.)
(High Beam is the super bright lights you flash when you’re angry at a driver in front of you.)

The HID kit used is the 6000k color which gives a slight blueish tint.
If you want pure white then I suggest going with the 5000k.

Before starting you have to take off the Front Bumper.

Tools Needed for Headlight Removal:

8mm Drive Socket with Wrench

Good Stuff!

You just down graded your headlights…  Not to rain on the parade but eBay projectors (new ones you installed) are subpar compared to stock…You would have better off and cheaper to simply buy e55 bi-xenon projectors.  And replace the current projectors in the headlights then get the car coded properly by someone with STAR.  You'd have a superior lighting system that utilize a proper HID bulb via D2S.Good video on breaking things apart though.  Too many merc owners afraid to take thing apart on these cars.
