QQ, I have read in some other posts that u will have to take it to the dealership to have the conductor plate programmed to the vin. Did you or know what they are talking about?

Hi i own a w210 e220 manual gear box which actually not sloting / engaging to 1st ,2nd and reverse gear … Could you please share what may be the issue ?

Richard Powell says:

Great video man. just one small point to finish the job perfectly you should have drained the rest of the fluid off that was still within the box and replace with new as you went along. Because now you've got 4L of new oil mixed with 4L of old oil. But great informative video

Michael S says:

Hello, ever had a case where the no shift out of first problem was simply a stuck kick down switch located under the gas pedal? Will there always be a trouble code associated with a no shift situation? Thanks

M Chan says:

Appreciate for your tips and video. Well, I came across limp home mode previously and fixed by the electronic plate replacement about 2 years ago. Today, I cold start the engine. Driver door open, I hear some "gigi noise" while shifting gear say from P to R, then R to D or vice versa. Is there any problem and wonder to know where the noise coming from? Thanks.

NickHDvideo says:

Hi,
Where can i buy a good conductor plate for $70?
Thank you!

Maknificent2 says:

How did you identify which solenoids went where? Or are they all interchangeable?

Metalunique says:

Did you check the screens, the filters and the check valves? Since you had that valve body down, you should've replaced the PLIL, as well. its gonna rip and leak oil eventually. Your gonna have to drop that pan all over again to get to that boot.

I have a 1997 c280 w202 and when I drove down the road a few yards the car just stopped. The car wouldn’t move in Drive or Reverse. & when I try putting it in Park it makes this grinding noise. I checked under the car & there were no leaks from the trans as far as I could see. Do you have any idea what might be wrong? Thanks a lot!
