I just called Fletcher Jones & one of their techs said there is no
supercharger oil in my S55 AMG…help, i’m confused :)

Aj Everett says:

Got my Mobil 2 jet oil today & the ball end of the 5mm Allen wrench works
great. The syringe I ordered has a tube that’s 2x too big so I’m off to HD
to either get smaller tube or improvise. I think Fletcher Jones in Newport
Beach is a great dealer & very well known but I think it’s like their
transmission theory that it never needs changing, lol. Thanks bud

Jon Doe says:

Great video, can I bolt on a supercharger for my 2000 ML55 with one from a
2003 SL55? Your advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Hot80s says:

thanks. don’t get any of that nasty oil on the pulley belt!

ElhonasFIN says:

Yeah thats true.. i’ve seen this too! Im pretty sure it has to do with the
same thing as if you leave water to a cup in the sun.. its going to fade
away over some time. On case of oil and differentials its going to take a
lot longer but as you said in 10 years this could be the case? Because
there is an breather hose in the differential so that the pressure gets out
of it, and also with time the oil fades away with all the pressure being
created in the diff.

junglist1soldier says:

my ML55 has no supercharger, I want one though. Can I install one if I find
one?

aydinvideo says:

You’re welcome! I got the five mm at the hardware store. By the way I have
lots and lots of videos for tuning these engines and with procedural
maintenance take a look on my channel. 🙂

Tonyjaniamg says:

I changed mine about a month ago… Dam that smell is like old goat cheese
hahahaha

ChristianCohn says:

Just fill it up until it overflows out of the hole. Same way like refilling
a Differential. Remember th SC can loose oil over time, whatever happens to
it. I’ve seen Differentials after 10years of usage that lost approx 30% of
oil volume, even though they were not leaking or sweating at all. No idea
where the oil goes in such cases, but it happens.

Tariq T says:

where can I get that blue 5mm allen key from? Great vid by the way, thanks
for sharing!
