Not compatible with w210 and R129 models..this includes late 90's -2003 e320 and all 90-2002 SL series. Can't find one that does outside of dealer.
does it work on w202 c43 also i plan on changing the conductor plate but i read i need to re-program the TCU codes. would this scanner work.
There are several MB chassis this tool won't scan. W140 is among them, at least if you believe the piss-poor documentation provided on their website. I would be very hesitant to call such a limited device the 'best'.

work in 2012 MB C250? i did check with OBD2 Craftsman (P0340) i did replaced the camshaft sensor. i delete but comes back every 30 miles, special in the morning when the engine is cold.
Can this kit check the milage of the ecu and see if it is the same as on the dash?
my 1999 E320 Mercedes is unscannable by the auto parts store scanners, my neighbor's scanner, or my little plug-in Bluetooth EL327 scanner. My repair shops Snap-on Solus $5,000 scanner works, as does the neighbors $10,000 scanner. Does this little scanner also work on other vehicles? Even though it's $120 on Amazon or Ebay, I'd like to use it on other older vehicles that I have.

If you have a Merc you need to get STAR Diag…. Anything else is going to fail in comparison. That thing doesn't do variant coding right? It pretty much will read codes and erase them, and go through modules but not be able to change actual settings on the car, yes?

I have a 2000 s430 n i have a airmatic issue where the front drops over night i changed the struts so there is a small air leak i dont know where will this help me find out where?

Thanks for making this! Does the i980 allow a user to make adjustments to TPMS and Airmatic systems? I have a W220 and I'd like to adjust the monitoring pressure for the TPMS system and have the option to verify and adjust the standard height of the Airmatic system. Thanks again!

Hi there my friend. I am interested to buy the i980 and would like to ask if I980 also programing besides diagnosis. I mean can I add the "navi" function to my instrument cluster if I change my audio20 to command NTG2.5 or add the convenience menu (if the car doesn't have) or to activate xenon function if I change the stock headlights with xenon like the star diagnosis do?
