Hi guys ive just took my drivers door card off to replace my window switch
on my mercedes coupe 2002 cdi220, and now ive put the door card back, the
door wont lock and also says door open on the screen on dash……….Any
ideas please would be much appreiciated

Thanks for posting this. Are there any precautions, with regard to the
airbags while doing this? In the past, with other brands, I’ve had to
follow procedures to ensure the airbags don’t trigger while working on
doors or steering wheels. I’m going to be replacing window switches, so I
need the power while doing this.

Is the regulator. I’ve never removed a door panel with airbags. Do I need
to do anything special to avoid damaging them? Also, do you have a video
that shows the regulator replacement? Thanks!
i have the same problem in my c320, the interior handle broke. Were you
able to find out about this DIY question?

@bmjxtreme hey there, i can make a video they are the same for most ml
@mwendia the rear door airbags are riveted in place, i can show you how to
remove the rivets. most mercedes benz airbags dont go bad. its usually
within the wiring. check for an open circuit, or first scan the car for the
srs codes to narrow your search
Problem of the button that opens the trunk from the inside but the lamp
illuminates when the trunk is open help me please …

The lamp stays on as long as the trunk lid is open. Its to remind you to
close it.
