My Chrysler Pacifica completely shut down with no power at all. At first the ABS light kept flashing on and off and the car kept shutting off while driving and backing up. Then all of the dashboard lights started flashing, along with the headlights for about 7 seconds (and just one time). As we parked the car at home, the car started smoking under the hood. It does not start and has no power at all. I can't shift gears. I doubt this is a simple fuse fix.

Jaden Vilvert says:

Does anyone know if this will work to just make the esp sensor go away? Have an E350 2006 and I can only drive about 10-15 min before the esp pops up on the dash and the car goes limp, when this initially started my car would not turn on for a week, replaced the battery and it turned on again. Now the esp sensor just keeps turning the car off

New merc owner here, so when you say you “replaced the fuse” what exactly did you do, had you purchased another fuse before ? Also how do you know it’s blown? The “up” arrow of my wing mirror isn’t working but the others are, I wonder if it’s a fuse thing.

kenneth croll says:

Hello had the same thing on my w210 E class, turn out to be a 10a fuse in the overvoltage protection, it popped because of a noise filter at the back off the after market radio
