I have a 1994 e320 sedan and this warning light the looks like a small circle [ left side of the cluster] with little dots around it, sometime flashes on and off, then it disappears and starts flashing again but slowly…what is that?

I am sorry, but I am not an automatic transmission mechanic/expert. I would research the topic on a couple of good Mercedes Benz forums on the Internet or perhaps talk to a transmission specialist at a garage.
I have a problem after replacing the box machine is not running 5-th transmission kick-down, and what do I do?
A scanner is not necessary. When there are multiple DTCs, the LED will blink one sequence after another,until a single LED blink, indicating that is the last one.
so is a scanner actually necessary since one is pretty much built in
