You’ve got a sharp sir! Having been an A.S.E. certified technician many
years ago I appreciate your tenaciousness to solve a difficult problem.

Awesome video. I will be picking these tools up and introducing them to the
mechanics friends of mine. My damn 1985 shifter sounds like someone
twirling a ratchet around. 😛

Michael A. Lawrence says:

Magnificent! I remember the first time I installed the shifter bushings in
a W123 and it was a royal pain. Down here, in Guatemala, I levered a
bushing into place using a crescent wrench –LOTS of work, I do NOT
recommend doing it. The comfort of using the right tool will save you close
to an hour of frustration. Once you try it with the wrong tools, you won’t
believe how easy it is! Congratulations to Mr. Bergsma for these excellent
tutorials!
