@MaaDaMeatloaf glad to help!

TheMotorminute says:

chances are that if the battery is still connected that the spring is
touching the ground, the frame its self under the air bag is the horn

MaaDaMeatloaf says:

Great vids man! Quick question: I need to replace only the front cover of
the airbag (the black plastic piece with the Mazda emblem) since my emblem
started chipping. I found a seller on ebay that sells the cover without the
airbag. Do you know if it’s possible to transfer the airbag from one cover
to another?

K Schumann says:

does this turn on any airbag lights after removing the wheel?

TheMotorminute says:

@MaaDaMeatloaf so I looked into this today….and I don’t know how that
eBay seller is selling that air back cover, long story short is that it you
really wanted to get it off, you could but the cover will be damaged. Your
safety is in danger, that cover holds the whole air bag together. , I
highly recommend NOT doing this dude, I wouldn’t do it to my car! Maybe you
can paint the emblem black?

MaaDaMeatloaf says:

I had a feeling that it would be a challenge, so I purchased a used airbag
off eBay. Thanks for all the help tho!

NETWizzJbirk says:

What you want to do is buy an entirely new airbag and replace the entire
unit. That is the ONLY safe way to fix it.

liam lam says:

i am going to remove my steering wheel cover so that i can retrieve the
rubber covering that has somehow fell inside the hole, i was wondering if i
needed to disconnect the battery to do this? all i need to do is get the
rubber cover that fell in

Yan Teck Hiew says:

hi, when i try to unscrew the nut my horn will just activate how can i
disable the horn? is that because i didn’t disconnect the battery?
