Drew Murray says:

@MsMillyboy the supercharger should not be knocking, that is not normal. IF
there is no oil in the intercoolers, and the car is not blowing blue smoke
out of the exhaust, I don’t know what to tell you. These superchargers will
make noise when the oil seals are bad because oil will not compress and
when it goes through the impellers it will cause damage.

Neff Juarez says:

Ive got a ’02 2.5L millennia nd its pricey to repair

Drew Murray says:

@AMP2one8 You will burn the pistons if you drive the car consuming oil like
that. Fix it!

ever tena says:

hello i was just wondering about the problem. I was reading your
description and you didn’t mention anything about smoking issue. Is that i
have the same vehicle and it starded blowing crazy amounts of smoke. so i
went ahead and pulled the superchager out and it seems to have to the same
amount of oil which is shown in this vid. Any advice would help, Thanks

Перевод: русский > английский Change is difficult. But it is possible. You
should take pictures and record the repair process, if you are not a
specialist. Catalytic converter (catalyst) can be removed. I did that. Not
bad for the motor. Bad for the environment a bit.

i’ve just bought a euonos m800 with a 2.3l super-charged miller cycle
engine,it has an oil leak & a knocking noise as well as loss of power,it
feels like it’s only on 5 cylinders, the oil leak looks to be above the
s-charger fly-wheel somewhere, would this cause the loss of power & knocking
noise,i have no idea about this motor & it’s workings, cheers scott

Drew Murray says:

@pawns17 Canadian superchargers, PSE i think. These engines are so
complicated i don’t know what to tell you

Drew Murray says:

@MsMillyboy If you are sure there is no oil in the intercoolers, the oil
seals in the supercharger should be fine. The supercharger in that engine
is lubricated by pressurized engine oil. A leak in the vacuum lines , or
incorrect connection can cause the motor to run bad and make a rattle sound
from the middle. While i was working on my car I accidentally hooked the
electric solenoid valves wrong because the plugs are the same and can be
switched to the wrong solenoids. Check all this

JUDGERAMBO says:

looked at one the other day had 4 misfire codes and two catalyst codes,
flashing mil light . cost more than he paid for car.

пашка я says:

Хороший автомобиль. Но я слава богу его уже продал. Тоже компрессор дымил
немного при заводке.

i need help with my madza millenia my blower was working and it and that is
my heater blower

Frankenfukstein says:

.I just diagnosed one of these today. Ive been a tech for 25yr. My
customer, an auto wholesaler said it needed valve guide seals.LOL.A simple
diagnosis,First off, The SC was making a growling chatter.( not loud mind
you but not normal., removed one Intercooler and it was half full of
oil..So i drained both intercoolers and ducts, also the intake plenum..No
more smoke hes going to sell it at auction.I cant believe that mazda put
that powerplant into production.. BTWhow long did r.r take you?

Drew Murray says:

@Hempp2 IF you try to dismantle this supercharger without the proper
equipment it will likely ruin it, Something is press fit i think. And
besides i had to sent it back for core charge

TheEogbaker says:

Hi there. I was wondering if you had the part number for the super charger?

julie harden says:

hey we are having this problem took it to shop and they said the
supercharger is going out …plus a misfire on 3 and 6 cylinder could it be
this instead of the supercharger going bad

form109 says:

i like the interior and exterior styling of the Millenia..it’s a relatively
rare car but i’ve seen a couple, they are few and far in between for the
most part,i don’t think they sold well and i’ve heard they are problematic
and expensive to fix (specifically the one with the 2.3 L Miller Cycle
engine) i guess if i bought one i’d settle for the 170 HP 2.5 Liter lol

Drew Murray says:

@evergtp I can tell you 100% for sure that if your supercharger and
intercoolers /intake system have oil in them, the seals have gone bad in
you supercharger. Do not try to disassemble the charger, if you do they
won’t give you back your core deposit when you buy a refurbished
supercharger from PSE. Canadian Superchargers is where i got the
replacement, it was around $2000. You also have to replace the oxygen
sensors, and the catilytic converters as they will be plugged with soot and
oil.

AMP2one8 says:

Pawns17- I have the same exact problem that you described and I’ve been
driving it like that sense I bought it 3 yrs ago and still the same, but
there some sweet cars sounds sick as hell still check mine out ampit69!

Hempp2 says:

What’s the diameter of the pulley on the crankshaft? Have you dismantled
the leaking charger?

Craig Murray says:

thats my car

jrendon100 says:

does the engine of these cars come out from the bottom or top

ever tena says:

@drewhastheinternet ..Hello thank you for your help.. I just replace my
supercharger and it wors ..now i just got to figure out why the computer
its giving me undocumented codes .. other than that everything is good
…THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

ClassicSalsa2 says:

Hello what I would like to know is how did you remove the belt? I cannot
find how to remove the tensioner not even which one it is.

Dmitriy Yakovlev says:

thx ,I’ll check vacuum lines . how do you think is the average life in the
supercharger and what causes failure? in Canada rebuild the supercharger?

Dmitriy Yakovlev says:

Hello. I also have Millen MCE 2.3. please tell me, in my Supercharger that
is knocking during engine operation. should there be a knock? except oil in
intrercoolers what else could be a sign of failure Supercharger?? Thank you
very much for your help.

LSx Sickspeed says:

I wish my 98 Millenia had cupholders 🙁 The center one was broken when I
bought it.

jjmqwerty says:

is that a home made jet engine in your garage?

Bo Baugh says:

I have a 2.3 Mazda mellina also, there was a miss fire in the number 1
cylinder, I replaced the Head gaskets and plugs and coils, The car continue
to miss fire in the number 1 cylinder and the TCS light comes on when you
drive it, Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

Drew Murray says:

@jjmqwerty Yes it is, that rig weighs over 200lbs and it made enough thrust
to push itself. IT’s super cool to see a gallon of diesel fuel burned in a
minute or two!

thehegt Tr says:

No-wonder why there are a lot of good looking Millenia S are for sell out
there , lucky me i bought the Base Millenia other wise i am fuck , thanks
for the Video .

Dmitriy Yakovlev says:

Thank you for your reply. I live in Moscow, we have this car is very rare
and there are almost no specialists: ( Please indicate what about the seals
you wrote? I checked the oil in the supercharger is not in intrercoolers
too. of the tube is white smoke …

пашка я says:

Перевод: русский > английский I also have this problem in my car. Smoke
when starting the engine. I’m a mechanic. Changed the piston rings, seals
valves. But the type of operation is not possible for me: (Every 5000 miles
– 5l oil. I know 2 places where repairs – $ 1600 California and Kiev,
Ukraine 1300 Euro. Expensive, pancake. Прослушать
