agiantman says:

Does anyone know the Mazda part number or the exact name of those vacuum
switching valves?

icewind1906 says:

Thks got a 2001millenia with codes 1345, 0505, 1522, 1250 1 down 3 to go…

briansmobile1 says:

Nope. You have two separate issues. You have a hardware failure inside the
transmission (clutch or clutch drum failure) and and induction system
issue. Likely your knock sensor code is a by product of the transmission
issue.

briansmobile1 says:

@lmscorp1 1996 and newer cars have an O2 sensor before and after the
converter. If it’s one BEFORE that’s bad it can hurt the converter. That’s
because it’s job is air/fuel metering to control efficiency/ emissions etc.
If it’s readings are slow, off, or not there your computer will run the mix
rich to limp you home. This results in excess emmisions for your catalytic
converter to be doing over time in which it can over heat.

Very informative video, thanks. A friend has a 2002 Mazda Millenia, 2.5L.
The engine misses and sometimes stalls out when decellerating and coming to
a stop. I connected a scan tool and has the following codes: P0300B
(misfire), P0421, P1250, P1402, P1521. You explained the P1521, how about
the rest of the codes? Are they all related to the missing and engine
stalling? Also, he said it (only) happens when the tank is low on fuel.
Thanks again.

Hi Brian, I was wondering if you could tell me how to remove the speed
sensor on a Millenia? I removed that one bolt that is holing it and it
won’t come up and out! Is there any other thing that is holding the sensor
in…like a clip or something? How do I remove it so I can put the new one
in? Thanks

Hey Brian, Was sup? I have a hum dinger for you…. I have a 96 Mazda
Millenia 2.5 liter. I know their is a problem with my TCS temperature
coolant sender. The problem is… I need to find out why it’s not working
correctly. I’ve swapped it out twice… I’m getting 4.9v on hot side of
wire with my volt meter. It’s causing my engine to misfire. How do I need
to resolve this issue. Any ideas, or videos on how to trace the wiring for
that circuit ??? PLEAZZZZEEEE HEEEELLLLPPPP!!!!!

dealers for this issue they did tune up changed manifold intake gaskets but
nothing changed, they said they will change the injectors ,do you have a
workshop and are you anywhere close to kentucky, ohio or chicago

Derrick Wooten says:

I am working on an 02 millenia, and I tried this procedure and I am getting
some blow by out of the top nipple if I pump it several times. I am getting
a code 1522 , but both solenoids are doing this. Do they have blow by after
so much pressure?

Davi512Luv says:

Thank you Brian I will try and get that thing out!!! What happens if I try
to brake it out, will it hurt anything?

Jesse James says:

It never ceases to amaze me how much parts cost for cars. Anyways great
video, very informative as always!

blowtell3 says:

how to stop leaking on 2002 mazda millenia 2.5L? The oil leaks from the
engine and drops maybe onto the transmission, which make a lot of smoke

briansmobile1 says:

I’m not. In out West right now.

briansmobile1 says:

@briansmobile1 If it’s an O2 sensor AFTER the cat. It’s just there to make
sure the cat it working properly. (for On Board Diagnostics Second
Generation OBD2 which means the car does it’s own emmisions test on itself)
It still senses O2 but it doesn’t affect the inputs for air/fuel metering.
Therefore it won’t hurt the cat. It simply monitors the performance of the
cat for emissions testing. If you have a significant misfire that CAN hurt
the cat your check engine light will FLASH.

boom19999 says:

i have a 1992 mazda b2200, how do i get the check engine light off?

briansmobile1 says:

@Tanquen I got the valves from the mazda dealer. They are made by
Mitsubishi and are found in MANY different cars. I’d try the wrecking yards
in your area.

jay7264 says:

I used your method on a supercharged mellenia check my channel its listed
as Mazda you’ll get a laugh out of it

SATX1983 says:

I HAVE A 98 MAZDA MILLIENIA AND I HAVE A MIS FIRE 3 ON THE CODE…CAN YOU
HELP ME

Tanquen says:

I have a 95 and I always get both the codes and was wondering where you got
the replacement valves? I also, get the codes without the car running. ???

Latasha Frison says:

ihave a question about my 98 millenia, just fixed this problem the car kept
overheating, it was the engine coolant hose, but my check engine light is
still on. My husband did the tune up. I was wondering could it be a sensor
burnt out. when i took it to get it read they could get read.

Davi512Luv says:

thanks for your reply Brian! not too sure where to check what you have
said…can you point or give some advice?

briansmobile1 says:

Disconnect your ECT sensor (engine coolant Temperature) and your computer.
Now you have dead wire between that and your sensor. Use a tone generator
to follow the wire and look for breaks or loose pin connections at the
computer. If you have a wiring diagram- use it. If you don’t buy donuts for
a local shop for them to print you one or offer $20 for a print out for
your year/make/model/2.5

briansmobile1 says:

@boom19999 repair the problem and drive 50 miles. OR repair the problem and
then disconnect the battery for five minutes and then reconnect it.

MrSnoop813 says:

system solenoid circuit 1…after watching this video, if i replace the
