I don't like EVs. They have no soul, like the politicians who are pushing them. Even the greenie weenies should, at least, consider that EV battery production is depleting rain forests. Long live internal combustion! Hug trees elsewhere.
All car manufacturers should have pooled their billions and shared the basic technology. If thousands of the best engineers and chemists work together as a group there would be less wasted time repeating tests and designs. Better for the world.

The best vehicles that Mazda ever made was the B3000 pickup and the Miata.
