I thought about using the same point in my Mazda 3 for the ground cable but thought it had to touch unpainted metal? Did you test to see if there was any resistance when you fitted?

When you put the cable around the top of the A Pillar will this obstruct the curtain airbags
Great video! I am having trouble finding a microblade piggy back adapter. The microblade I have doesn't sit very comfortably in the fuse slot.

good video; followed for my 2018 mazda 3 gs & thinkware f800. only thing is that i tucked my wire underneath the A pillar airbags instead of over it so that when the airbag does go of the wire wont slap my face.
Very informative video. I have a 2016 mazda 3 and I want to add a 12 volt socket and usb port using your method, are you able to use one of the already empty slots in the fuse box or would you recommend using an already existing circuit?

Did you have any issues using the mini sized fuse spur in the slot for the micro fuse?
It seems smarter to wire this in since the fuse box is in the footwell rather than running the cable to the center console cigarette lighter.
