Again, Take—– CAUTION—– and be experienced. Use extreme care DONT GET
YOURSELF BURNED TO DEATH…PLEASE…I made the video so I could save time
and show you how to save some serious money. Call around and ask how much
this job is. You will see what I am talking about. My buddy paid $600+
dollars to get the fuel pump replaced in his Tahoe. I got the pump from the
Wrecking yard and paid only $42 for the pump and sending unit assembly (the
fuel level float) all together. WORK SAFE

Luke Martin says:

Could you have used tin snips to cut that hole? Also using a drill to make
holes in the corners of the square cut would have worked like you used the
sledge and chisel.

I like your videos. I just wanted to say an air hammer might do the job
better. It would be safer then a blade to cut the hole.

blkthunderbolt says:

Don’t worry bout who don’t like it. I like it. Been there done that
already. It save a lotta time when u working at home.

cheerdiver says:

A sheet metal nibbler can be had for $25, much safer.

ccdragster100 says:

how did you reconnect the wires when you cut them

brent austin says:

Could you have put a board over the hole and bolt it so that nothing falls
down into the fuel pump? Or would a board hinder the back seat from being
instlled?

bill s says:

Ive done this same exact thing but, I used a 6inch hole saw and drill. then
when I attached it i put tabs on the disc I cut out and secured it over the
hole tek screw and siliconed around the gap to get any fumes and debris
out, I agree this is way faster then pulling the tank
