DavePioneer says:

Wait till you see how bad the nav is on your 2013 3

Gnik4144 . says:

Great install. You just gave me another idea. I have the ipad 2 in my car &
love it… But the ipad mini fits perfectly in my dash kinda like yours.
Great job by the way!!!

wayne kaladinskas says:

looks a bit of a mess…..i just bought a 2013 mazda 3 with built in sat
nav. No way would i do this

GotNoCredentials says:

So the iPad is plugged into your CD player or processor in your club box?
Then the signal is ran to your amps from there?

DavePioneer says:

Hi Louididdy I’m actually selling my dash kit from my Mazda 3 if your
interested message me and let me know (if your currently driving a Mazda
3). You’ve got it right you’ll need to send it to a DAC or a single din
deck mounted in your glove box or something that will then run RCA to your
amps

chefboyalexd says:

cool idea. this is proper.. cant wait to do this on my car.. do you think i
could hook up a back up camera and it will show on the ipad mini

phoenixgold1234 says:

in thinkin use pioneer 80(?) prs, since its 5v out;). i cant wait to do
this on my A4- huge diff. from app radio to this?

Adrian Santiago says:

That’s really cool, I would of gone with that option if I wouldn’t have
spent over 500 on my pioneer radio, great ideas and pretty well executed…

Hafi M says:

Very nicely done, I was thinking to install one in my 11 camry. It would be
great if you can explain in your other video about the deck model,
installation. Camry dash is some what having same dash feel.

RHooper07 says:

Any interest in producing kits?

cyrus r says:

Great Job! Too much work though, also easy to steal. I live in DC so that’s
an issue.

louididdy says:

I just searched for that, $1200.00!!!!!???? Is there a cheaper option out
there you can recommend? In my case I would remove my factory stereo (no
bluetooth with it) to make way for the iPad mini double din, so then I
would have to send the sound to a DAC that would then pass that along to my
after market amp, is that right? Any bluetooth DAC’s?

louididdy says:

Thanks for the info and offer Dave, but I’m going to do this for an RX330.

DavePioneer says:

Yep there is a DEX-P99RS mounted in my glove box.
