Your Average NFL Fan says:

i am going to be doing this soon on my 2008 mazda 3 2.0 , i recently changed sparks to see that oil was on the threads, this video looks extremly useful even for the 2.0

Julian Mccollough Washington says:

Did this make your check engine light come on?

Jason Walley says:

What is the round part where you showed were you cleaned it on the 22 min marker? I have coolant/water coming out of it. What would that mean?

Reynaldo Diaz says:

Did you applied any silicone to the gasket? Or just replaced it?

Will Leger says:

I have a 2004 2.0 liter MAZDA 3i with 165 k miles (used car bought recently with 160k miles and just changed the oil the first time). I'm getting a feel for this car. After watching your video, I have to say, my engine's valve cover is almost identical. I have a ton of oil on top of spark plug 4, and 3, 2, 1 are clean. I've been smelling some oil burn recently, and now I know why! I am changing the spark plugs, and now the valve cover gasket – routine maintenance!

Qsa_Sin says:

Can you come over and do my valve cover?

Kane Carr says:

I was planning on doing this and the video was very helpful! I'm just curious: I'm planning on doing this because I've found oil on top and inside cylinder 1 on my 2006 mazda 3. Would this potentially fix that issue?

Andre Brody says:

Excellent video. I'm changing the valve cover gasket as well as the engine oil cooler gasket. Both are leaking on my 2009 Mazda 3 at 157,000 miles.

Nathan Young says:

Thank you for the video helped a lot now it's my turn lol let you know how it goes

Wesley Bergholm says:

If I want to change the spark plugs also, should I do it after the new gaskets are on and everythings done? Also how do you recommend cleaning the oil out of the wells? Could I use brake cleaner for that?

gerard321111 says:

Great video. Very well explained.

Auto Matrix77 says:

Thanks brother. Great video. Need to do the work on mine and this helps. Same question about the torque on each bolt. Nothing goggle can't help with it. Cheers.

1989HondaHawk says:

All bolts have a specific torque value to compress the gaskets & prevent premature leaks & not crack the valve cover & also not strip out the threads. I'm surprised the valve cover gasket set didn't come with instructions of the torque value & sequence. I hope your intake manifold is going to be ok concerning the amount of work it took.

Good video! I’ve noticed the valve gasket leak in your previous video. I replaced it 2x in my M6; how old is your oil at the time of recording video, and what type/brand are you using and what filter type/brand; also what is your OCI?
