This video was perfect. I’ve been dealing with a broken antenna for years.
I repaired it just as you said and it now works perfectly. I ordered the
part from your E-bay store and it came in 2 DAYS! Thank you!!

Hello, I am a proud owner of a Eunos Roadster 92, i will send you a photo.
🙂 Your videos have saved me so much money, and in the process gave me a
huge amount of confidence in fixing my own car. I have a few issues the
first is my aerial is permanently up? im not sure if the whole unit is
broke? Or if its just not connected up to my stereo as i fitted that myself
too. it will go up and down a little at the top but no further. Any tips
would great , thank you again.

I was expecting to replace the entire motor, but your video showed me the
problem is just a broken leader wire. Thanks for the info and I will order
a new mast from your store.

Hello Sir Tychang, Give the antenna assembly a good tug, it may be only
stuck in place. Good luck, Mike. The King of Miatas.

Thank you so much for this video. I now have the confidence to finally fix
my broken antenna!

Mike MiataKing says:

Hello Sir Stephen, When you turn the radio on and off do you hear a
whriling sounds from the antenna motor. If not the antenna motor may not be
wired up to the radio correctly. The antenna motor has two power leads, one
is steady to run the motor the other is the signel from the radio to
acctivate the motor. If you do hear sounds from the motor the antenna mast
may be broken. Good luck with your mission. Mike. The King of Miatas.

I have 1995 NA Miata. I removed the special nut at the top, and the nut
holding the antenna motor assembly, and disconnected the electrical
connection, but it is still attached to the car… How do I remove the
antenna motor assembly??
