How to Replace Mazda 3 Wiper Blades in Under 2 Minutes

How to Replace Mazda 3 Wiper Blades in Under 2 Minutes on a 2012 Mazda 3 2.0L sedan. This applies to most Mazda 3’s. When I first did this job a few years ago it was frustrating, but once followed the sequence below, it became quick and easy

1. Remove old blades by rotating blade until it clicks off
2. Remove old adapter from ‘hook’ end of wiper arm (optional)
3. Remove new wiper adapter from wiper (optional if replacing adapters)
4. Install new adapter into hook
5. Push end of hook into corresponding end of wiper until you hear a click…if properly aligned very little force is necessary, and you can confirm alignment by seeing that the small hole and boss-holes are respectively aligned.

No one ever show the angle needed to see what they are doing at the most important step.

This is a terrible camera angle and he didn’t explain it well enough wtf

@moy_moy85 says:

Yeah but how the heck do you replace just the rubber blade cartridge as opposed to the whole blade unit? Driving me nuts.

@tg8150 says:

Don’t do it this way unless you want to bend your wiper arm or break something.

@jonanthony6136 says:

Worthless video. Stock blades have S hook mechanism.

@lndcr8tr says:

Why bother making video??? You can’t really see what or how your doing it. You need an assistant to record you!!!!!

@zeinerd says:

You can actually take the whole wiper attachment off at once… It's on a hook so you just have to move it in the right direction
