adam draper says:

what did you use as the remote wire? Is it a particular wire or did you use as cigaret lighter?

Aidian7 says:

Aidian7 says:

are the speakers powered by the amp to?

K Thompson says:

So do you simply cut the speaker wires for the rear speakers and add the rca converter wires? (Having a “Y” in the wire basically)?

damn wiring harnesses at 3:10

trainsstrain says:

im pretty sure it is the same. ive seen something similar on torontomazda3 reat website for m3 and ms3

Adam Zweibaum says:

being that they didnt change the model until 2010, would this work on a 2008? ive been thinking about putting two 12″ subs in my trunk and im not sure what kind of amp to use. if you have any input, it would be greatly appreciated!

Rick James says:

Thanks, this video helped a lot!!

Dan Penton says:

The rear speakers are in the doors and would be more work with the 3.

Eric Meier says:

Will this guide work if I have a Mazda 6?

Nick Chatzi says:

why couldn’t you just tap into the back speakers? pulling out a head unit i recon is the hard way….

Pontara06 says:

I’m pretty sure if you hook your remote wire to Yellow which is constant hot your amp will be on all the time whether the car is on or off. Check for switched power I’m pretty sure it’s usually red. Switched power will have 12v when the key is on and 0v when the key is off.

Great video bro! Quick question, the blue remote wire for the amp goes to the yellow constant from the car??? Also, how would I connect the front speakers to the amp if I wanted to??

DIY Car Audio says:

futureshop, the source, bestbuy, wal mart

Keagan Poole says:

where can u buy that rca converter?

Keagan Poole says:

helped alot man thanks..good job!!

NL Burden says:

thanks dude got mine hooked up!!
by myself with no clue in the first place.

vpsshore says:

What brand is the LOC you used? Also, does it have a wiring diagram that indicates where each of its wires are required to be tapped into? Thanks!

DIY Car Audio says:

i have a feeling it’s just all the same, your yellow, blue, and black is probably for inputs and one output. that yellow is connected to your constant 12v, black is ground, and your blue is most likely a remote turn on for your amp, so i’m assuming you won’t need to tap into the accessory wire but instead the constant 12v with the yellow wire. hope this helps

fourevertwenty says:

color codes are the same but my output converter has different colored wires . it has 8 wires (black grey stripe)..blue…yellow….black….(grey black stripe)… (white black stripe)….white…. grey
