This video is 3 minutes longer than it needed to be!!! really bored just
watching you dither about. You can edit a video you know!?!?!? May as well

I like what you said about dating red headed girls because they are better
at small talk.

Eli Dudley says:

This video would have been more impressive and more useful if you had
skipped all that silly preamble. I don’t care if the car has been sitting
since Christmas, and a half-assed explanation on removing the door panel
doesn’t help anybody. On the other hand, your comments added later to make
up for poor audio were succinct and on point, and I love the font on your
intro and end sections.

doyrtwq says:

Did you have a charged battery or were you running off the same battery
that would not start the car?Did you try the window with the car running? It
did not seem to work any better after the silicone spray.

So what the hell do u do; basically what i saw is a guy saying what he

Could you use silicon instead of oil based stuff to make sure it stays
always lubricated?

I CAN HEAR THE MOTOR BUT MY WINDOW WONT GO UP?

phoojywgvwj says:

Very informative video. I have a 83 RX7 GSL and the driver side window
won’t close. I even bought new window switches for both driver and
passenger side. Could it be maybe the motor is bad? what do you think?

Prentis Davis says:

PARADOXDESIGNS, thanks much for taking the time to provide this tutorial.
You saved me and possibly thousands of others a trip to the shop and some
money. I dont understand how people can make negative comments and dislikes
when they are being helped for FREE. Keep up the good work brother!

nice rx 7 rotary power !!!!!!!!

paradoxdesigns says:

it was just a armorall type spray. I would stay away from WD40 as its water
(not oil) based and over time can actually dry out the plastic. the trick
is to get the rubber parts holding the window in there all slippery.

Christina De Jesus says:

hey i did that but my window doesnt respond to when i touch the up and down
button so what can i do to make it work? for the moment ill be happy with
it going up and staying there but how can i make it work?

paradoxdesigns says:

@phoojywgvwj yup. that could be a problem. fuse box is on the drivers side
below the steering wheel on the left side, swap the fuse even if it looks
ok, just to be sure.

Very informational video man, good work! Keep posting! PMM Guys

RAZcracK says:

@paradoxdesigns No noize at all, and it has 2 switches for the same
window(one left/drivers-door and the 2nd one on the right door so i think
can’t be both switches not working … So i’m thinking on what you said
about the contacts on the motor … Thank you for your comment ..

fofa habibi says:

thank you ,it’s very helpfull

Jody Lebeda says:

hope this helps thanks

paradoxdesigns says:

thank you!

gav240z says:

Hey mate, it still looked slow, did you get them moving quicker? My FD has
slow windows wanna grease em up, what lube do you recommend?

paradoxdesigns says:

on the motor and gears itself, but for the most part its the rubber inside
the door that screws how the window is going up and down. at least on Rx7s
and older cars.

apb38 says:

this is quite limited.

phoojywgvwj says:

I replaced the fuse and the windows now work. Good thing it wasn’t a motor
problem.
