Hey, guys/girls! Long time no see!

I am back, and with a video backed by popular demand.

Cleaning or replacing your EGR can have numerous environmental advantages, as the EGR recirculates part of the exhaust gases back into the combustion chamber. However, there are more benefits to an EGR than just environmental advantages.Watch the video to learn more!

Be sure to look at my two videos that are coming up soon!!

Won't the collant pipe be full of coolant? Dick head.

Sean Baker says:

Mr muscle oven cleaner as long as you have no rubber on there, it’s cheaper and works pretty quick then rinse and repeat

Sean Baker says:

If you want to check the egr for leaks get small paint brush and brush some washing up liquid around the seal and it will blow bubbles then you can see if needs tightening any more when tight just rinse off because it can crowled on Some metals. I wondering you could use one of the flexible drill Extensions, I know you can get sockets to fit then

Incredibly clear and precise. Huge thanks.

What is supposed to be on the square blank plate just above the Egr valve. I have a 2011 Mazda 5 and it is leaking coolant from somewhere in that area.

Thank you very much for posting – very clear.

Rudi Lam says:

It might be easier to take it off from throttle body to make a room to take off the EGR valve rather than battery and battery box with a lot of cable and fuse box (means a lot of work), when throttle body off, you can also clean it as well, make it part of the job.
Have you tried spray it with CRC intake cleaner to clean the EGR? Which one is better compare to brake cleaner?

This is one of the BEST vehicle repair videos I've seen! Great detail including sizes and the zoom in quality with perfect lighting and no shadows is what separates you from the others. Plus, you fast forward or skip showing the tedious wrench turning making your videos an efficient and effect use of time. Based on the quality of this video, I will SUBSCRIBE to see your other stuff!
