Any issues with the lights so far? I’ve installed 6000k h7 HID’s for my low
beams. the stock fogs look terrible in comparison with my low beams. Do you
think they will match in terms of colour?

MacUser2418 says:

@junito034 found at JC Whitney

Kmac LA says:

Now I’ve done this before on my 2010 mazda 3 it’s just that I lost the
right screw driver needed to unbolt the screws that would give me access to
my fog light bulb. Do you know what your screw driver is called so I can
buy me one? Thanks

DatIrishShuffler says:

What did you do with your headlights?

slamcrank says:

Thanks for making this video, my man. I just bought the exact car (I love
it!) and need to replace one of the fogs – your video made it very clear.
Thanks!

MacUser2418 says:

I just purchased them individually from superbrightleds(dot)com Do you need
a list of light bulb types that work?

MacUser2418 says:

I believe they are stalk halogins that come with my 2.3L Mazda 3s. GT trim.
*i think*

MacUser2418 says:

Hey no problem! If you have something else you want to see let me know. My
Mazda mods are as follows… Short Ram Intake (SRI) by Takeda. Interior
light bulb swap. Footwell light install. Pretty fun. Also put in a cool
switch to turn these on. auxmod Auxiliary audio input install. Subwoofer
install (preserve stalk head unit and bose) Throttle body ground. LED
license plate cover Home Depot front lip. I’m probably forgetting something
so feel free to get creative. 🙂

Alec lessard. says:

how do you take your foglights out ?

MacUser2418 says:

Yeah man, its basically just a foam insulation strip. You can buy them at
Home Depot for less than $15. Then you’ll also need the same length of all
weather double sided tape. I would suggest 3M as the brand. Thats what I
used.

junito034 says:

What type of air intake do you have?

MacUser2418 says:

All you need is a philips screw driver. The shorter the better. You wont
have a whole lot of room work work. And when you pull the plug on the
bulbs, push down as class to the connecting wire as possible.

MacUser2418 says:

So once you pull the tab off the bulb, you rotate the base of the bulb and
rotate it counter clockwise. I explain at 5 minute mark 😉

MacUser2418 says:

Thanks man! I’ll be tearing apart my dash tomorrow to replace my AuxMod
auxiliary audio cable, so I’ll make a video on that as well as the blue
light wiring.

Gabriel Nagee says:

what kinda of light kit you used for the interior lights? just the house
lights

Dale Mitchell says:

I’d like to hear about your Home Depot front lip mod.

MacUser2418 says:

What do you mean?

MacUser2418 says:

I just used a normal phillips screw driver. I didn’t have any special tools
🙂

gerdz101 says:

Hey nice tutorial. I’m planning on installing one on my m3 but i don’t know
how to start. Can you give me some tips? thanks.

MrKiwispirit says:

cheers man was easy

majestytd says:

what is your low beam bulb?

todanator says:

They have been working just fine so far. The color is a pretty good match
to my low beams. The fogs might be just a little blue-er. But barely even
worth mentioning.

MacUser2418 says:

@junito034 It’s a takeda short ram intake. It works pretty well and fit
perfectly.

Dale Mitchell says:

Thanks for sharing! I took a peak in the owners manual which indicates you
remove one screw. I look under my 2006 Mazda 3 and notice there is no
access and a whole butt load of screws on the spoiler. Pheew! I feel better
knowing I only have to remove a few of those now! I’m looking forward to
seeing your other mods as well. I like to blue LED’s as well.

MacUser2418 says:

More specifically, Takeda Short ram intake. Very happy with it. Fits
without removing the resonator which is a pain to take out.

MacUser2418 says:

I believe they are H11 HID bulbs. They came with the car. Their enclosure
has little motors that let me adjust them with a switch.
