Hi i just got my DC2 Garrett turbo car back and checked if THIS TURBO
INTAKE PART,you were saying, was done…I still can move the turbo intake
side of the turbo forwards and backwards a little…So that`s NOT the way
it suppose to be?.. I`ve driven it like this now for a week;-( schould I
fasten them?..afraid to drive now..

are the best types of insulation
Why was the original air intake box left into the car? If the intake air
went trough the intercooler to the intake manifold of the engine.
if you look at 7:24 there is a screamer pipe so its just venting to
atomsphere

turbine housing.

@pornos60 normally some turbo kits can cost around 2 grand to three grand

they never tightened down the bolts on the turbo intake side, it was moving
when they installed the intercooling piping … I sense lack of boost in
the future
dang while this car is all nice and clean average people deal with all the
dirt and rust on the parts
@nieves2408 Well…DUH! This is good to watch to give a person an idea of
how it works. Not too mention there are these things called laptops which
you can have with you while installing the turbo kit and just follow along
with the video while you do the install……

the only part i dont like about this is how hes using clams to attach the
turbo to the header id rather it be a bold on for security

probably the best turbo install video ive ever seen. ive learned the world
outta this 😮 wow might have a go on a few scrap engines. man ure a
ledgend! 😀 we dont have scion in ireland. just finding out how turbo works
and how to install one. its abit tecknical with the electronics but still

oh. just a side note. the oil pan doesn’t come off that easy. on my tc it
took me two hours and three now broken flat heads to pry it off. ;- }
