Unless you don’t live in the US, that’s false. In order for an aftermarket part to void your warrenty, your dealership would have to PROVE that the aftermarket cause was the cause of the problem. Example, if you installed the new intake wrong and it sucked in debris, that would not be covered under warrenty. It is kind of hard to mess up the install for this, and as long as it sucks air and only air in, there won’t be any problems.
Installing anything other than OEM and stock part will void the warranty. What I do is when I take my Hatch M3 to the dealer for conditioning, I reinstall the stock air box.

What happened to the factory inlet tube the guy pulled out? IT was connect to the factory air box and radiator. Does the inlet tube need to go back??

This is on a CX-5! It is a CorkSport brand short ram intake. You can find us online if you look up CorkSport Mazda Performance. There is a link to printed instructions included at the bottom of the product listing.

This intake makes a noticeable difference in power and response! I love it just got mine about a week ago and I love the sound of it with my magnaflow exhaust
