I did mine in the summer of 2010 for my 06 Mazda 3, it was a pain in my
behind as I wanted to save my $ 150 for the install from the car dealer.
Have to replace it again in 2012.
I just did this job on my 2009 Mazda 5. Totally ridiculous setup. It’s
designed by masochists who want to discourage DIY maintenance. To add to
that my over 50 vision sucks for working in such tight spaces. I’d hate to
be a Mazda tech. The job on my scion is straightforward compared to this
nonsense.
