Surerly “customised” is the wrong word, later V8 style bodykit and O.Z.
futura splits suit the shape soooo well.
I bought one of these: the HC Turbo edition, and its brilliant! And its
gone up by £4k since I bought it! Fantastic fun supercar for the money, and
if you buy a good one it costs no more than a standard hot hatch to run.
Who buys an MPV at 25? 35 maybe.
Somebody please tell me the name of the music used during the test drive!

i saw one of these 4 banger turbos with the newer v8tt wing and kit and
wheels and it was all white with a custom white rugs, leather seats, white
leather wrapped doors, dash, everythjng was white it was the kinda lotus
God would drive 😉
I used to have a matchbox car of the Lotus when I was a kid, it was one of
my favourites because of the unusual flat design. I wouldn’t normally like
this sort of flashy car but I’d make an exception for this one. It’s like
the flounder of vehicles.
