I have such a time deciding how to prune. When I cut the flower spike to
the base I wish I had pruned it to one of the higher nodes to get new
flowers more quickly. If I prune the stock to a higher node and get fewer
flowers I wish I pruned the flower stock to the base. lol
Beautiful demonstration Bill, for how long you had this phal?
How do you water this orchid Bill?
You should make a giveaway for the keiki if you get many
Bill, if you love nature and have never been there go to sanibel island.
They have over 400 species of seashells, tons of birds, alligators, huge
tillandsias, wild orchids, native palms, and lots of other great plants and
wildlife. their library has an amazing shell collection if you don’t want
to spend the money to get into their shell museum. my campsite was set
underneath a strangler fig tree. i have never seen one and it was really
weird to see it covering the tree in the middle of it. at night moss balls
and tillandsia plants would fall onto my tent. it is one of my favorite
places i have traveled to in my life….. except for the noseeums in j ding
darling park, never heard of them until i was there at 6 am. avoid the
swamps at that time….. hurts!!!!! did see a gigantic otter cross by me.
not small, HUGE!!!!! I never thought I would like florida, to touristy, but
i love sanibel. and if your lucky, find a junonia or lions paw shell…..
if your on a budget, not cheap but the campsite is most affordable.
Pretty Phal.and good info.Thanks
Do you have the name of this plant?
Great video.
how often do you water your phalaenopsis so not to overwater? i also
wondered if you could show your fire flash seedlings. i think many people
have never heard of them……plus i would like to see them
Beautiful plant! I should start a collection of orchids :P.
In this video I will address a very frequent question “where and when do i
cut my old bloom spike on my Phalaenopsis orchid”
