When I try to install ApproveIt I get the message “No host application was found on this computer” even though lotus was installed.

Thank you Paul for your comments.

Your videos are VERY helpful. I’m surprised the people who run AKO allowed you to take their ridiculously cryptic download procedures and explain them in a way that ordinary soldiers can understand. I will tell others about what you have done. Big time kudos to you.

I was able to resolve it Chief. I uninstalled Adobe 9.3 and went to CNET.com and downloaded Adobe Reader X from that website and it worked. Thanks for all your help.

Michael J Danberry says:

This sounds like a problem with a pop up blocker on your computer. What you did to get ApproveIt installed would not have affected this.

ArmyRanger75TH says:

Sir, I uninstalled Adobe Reader X, successfully installed Lotus forms, Approveit and Adobe 9.3, but now I cannot upgrade to Adobe Reader X. When I go to the Adobe website and click ” Dowload Now ” the scene changes to the download instructions screen. You see the ” Save, Save As dialogue box for a second then it is gone.

Are you using Parallels, VMware, Virtualbox, or Bootcamp? What kind of problems did you have when using the programs listed above. If you are using a regular Mac, Lotus Forms and ApproveIt do not exist. Consider visiting my apd page on militarycac and contact them to express your feelings about thier lack of support to Mac users.

Do you have a video for MAC users? It doesn’t work the same.
