I returned the old config, I am removing the 1175kv engines and replacing
600kv , the Board is the Sirius Paris V4R6 and Esc’s are 18Mah, friend, you
could send it to my email as set up or where can I find step by step
configuration of firmware? Best regards Paulo Neves (my address:

Obrigado rcflyrodeo…..

hello, I also have a lotus, but I’m thinking of you colucar ardupilot one
with gps, what do you think friend, have any opinion, thank you and good
flight ..

By the way, who told u the originals are not working well, Aluette from
MWii Australia? Well he’s a nice fellow, but has sometimes strange ideas
and he has to sell his products, doesn’t he? I bought my first Paris board
from him too. Anyway don’t forget to make the hand test with increased
throttle before the maiden flight to make sure if you need to activate some
stage of LPF in the SW. Cheers Frank

gostaria também de saber como durante a instalação do firmware eu faça com
que os motores continuem parados durante a ativação da placa, que eles se
pusessem a girar somente quando eu acionar a aceleração via sticks.

rcFlyrodeo says:

Paul, the 1175Kv engines are not a bad choice if u use them with a 10×4.5
or a 9×4.5 prop. I kept the original engines because having a lover Kv they
also have a bigger torque so better for a 12 inch prop. I first tried with
the original 12×6 props but the thrust they developed was coming to early
on the throttle curve and was not a happy config for a small frame like
that. Could have been stabilized that way too but would have reduce the PID
values significantly so I switched to 12×3.8 props.

I dont know much about quadcopter’s, but it looks very steady and
controlable.

Dear friend had the same problem with my Lotus T580, I bought a multiwii
Paris V4r6, 4 Esc’s Carbonbird of 18 Amp, I ride and I was told that these
components did not work right with the original engines of 600Kv, by your
video I see that is not true because their engines are original Lotus so I
bought four 1175 Kv engines each of Multiwii in Australia, sent to the
Assembly, I’m hoping the return to fly and post a video with the result.
big hug Paul Snow Brazil.

Doesn’t matter which flight controller, I guess u could use KK, MWii,
ardupilot or openpilot, important is u use an ESC which is overdimensioned
not to overheat and the correct props for the engine. So I would use min
18Amp ESCs and 12×3.8 props for this frame with a 3S lipo and I’ll bet
it’ll fly with most of the flight controllers default PID settings for the
gyros and accels, for GPS u’ll probably will need some test flights to find
the optimum settings.
