Was there an actual cyst involved or was it merely free floating in the
brain. I expect that, as a cyst, there was some kind of wall or sac which
had to be removed. If so, is there a video of that aspect of the
operation? Secondly, was the patient concious during the procedure?

Zotung In says:

All star medical team
Thanks for your cyst removing video and I’m really interesting it as I’m a
patient of cyst which one/third on my brain cover by cyst. I’m struggling
headache, fever, seizures, produced phlegm with bad smell and now bleeding.
Neurologist from hospital told me that better to do nothing because the
cyst very big as nearly half of brain and small chance to recovery as
normal. Now I,ve stressing, anxiety and numbness as a father of six
children. I’m really excite to see or discuss with your team ASAP for any
possible treatment. Pls email to my personnel mail ID. Thanks

Marie From Phoenix, Arizona says:

That poor young man. I can’t believe how deep that abscess was. Am I
correct in saying that the brain will eventually slide into that open space
on its own so that it won’t be so cramped in the skull? Hopefully, someone
might be able to answer that for me because I don’t know much about these
things. I wish this guy all the best, as well as, a speedy recovery.

dan tannehill says:

God bless this man and his family

uscgalpha91 says:

Well done, Certainly less pressure on his brain. I hope he regained full
function.

Baron von Cheesecake says:

I wonder how this guy didn’t die from loss of circulation to his
brain…must have been non-essential brain tissue.

Diego Visconti says:

This is one of the two or three most astonishing things I have ever seen in
my 67 years on this earth. That enormous cyst spooned out like goat cheese
from the man’s brain is something amazing. I would love to know how the
patient is doing now and if he suffered any problems after the removal of
such big mass.

Hogon Ahonda says:

Simply amazing! Can you tell me what this cyst is made of?It is so
uniformly textured and colored.I have never seen this kind of abscess
before.Thank you for sharing this video it was very informative and
entertaining.II have subscribed and will be checking out your other videos.

Diana Robles says:

its a bummer, but life is a numbers game. We are a resilient species but
individuals are not resilient. Its all about getting lucky

lindebr says:

These videos would be so much better without the music and the constant
interruption of the video with words.

Have the doctor performing the operation do commentary.

Donna H says:

I am wondering even with how large this cyst was, could lazar treatments
have done any good to maybe shrink the size of this cyst?

Emily says:

That was an amazing video I couldn’t believe all of that stuff in his brain

Adam Sprague says:

+All Star Medical did the patient have deficits due to the cyst in his
brain, the operation or was the patient miraculously alright and stable
after the operation and during the time that cyst had been in his brain?

Franmomm Momm says:

Amazing, thank you for your intelligence and being able to do surgeries
like this.

SummerJoy says:

This is super interesting to watch! When my brother was 14 he developed a
brain bleed/blood clot, the size of an egg. The doctors said it had one
more layer until would have made it INTO the brain and would have had brain
damage. They estimated that he had on 2hrs until he would have started
having permanent damage. And something like only one more day until he
could have died. (It had been “festering” for a week, but since he has a
very high pain tolerance, we didn’t know how much pain he really was in.)
It wasn’t until my Great Grandma passed away and we drove 3hrs to go to the
viewing and funeral, a couple of my Aunts, whom are RNs, saw him walk in
the door and said he looked green! And by then his forehead was puffy, and
one of his eyes was getting puffy. They took him straight to ER and he was
in surgery within probably 2 hours!
He was cut from ear to ear and earned himself 3 or 4 metal plates in
head….to help span the gaps where his skull is missing. (A month later
one of the plates got infected, so he had to have another surgery, to clean
that up, and they packed his sinuses as well.
The only long term/permanent damage he has is some short term memory loss,
and it isn’t bad! We are just used to reminding him of the little things of
daily life. He is quite brilliant though and graduates as a mechanical
engineer in one month!

Shawn David Meister says:

That was Amazing, thank you for posting this.

Jake Smith says:

Great video. Insightful to see what the procedure is like. Informed a
friend will be going through this procedure so it’s enlightening to see
what she will be going through.

Reminds me of my butter scooping days at O’Charley’s.

jdogno1 says:

+All Star Medical Did this guy survive?

Kina G.S. says:

Oh that poor young man! I’m sure he’ll do well, because young people heal
well, with brain injuries especially. My big question is, WHAT was that
material being scooped out made of? There are no sebaceous glands in the
brain. An old infection that walled itself off, like meningitis? If anyone
knows, tell me. It was not from a parasite, like those jelloy egg sacs
(yuck!) from raw pork. Anyone know? Preferably a medical pro or
neurosurgeon? Aw, guess I could just look it up.

during the first world war infection must have been fatal to thousands.
