first of all i’ve to say i’m so glad for this reunion, hope they tour in
italy in the future i missed their gig here in naples in 1984 cause i was
not informed on it…but i’m a little disappointed on the performance! pete
and jem are ok,but the drummer…i’ can’t say he’s bad cause i don’t know
him (is he the original? ) but he didn’t play good here..so inaccurate..and
the voice of the girl..omg..let’s say too much different from the original
..so unfitting..anyway ..welcome back lotus eaters

How can Peter Coyle have EXACTLY the same voice after all these years?
Bless John Peel for bringing this band and their romance into my life. It
Hurts(murder) and You Don’t Need Someone New…..jeez the soundtrack to my
love life then…Only the 12″‘ versions OF COURSE!!!

trumpetmanism says:

How many singers would go into the audience and hug them. Pete Coyle is a
top bloke and even after 30 years(!) still has the best voice in Pop. What
a great band. This really took me back in time to a much happier place. I
have a tear in my eye. Thank you so much for uploading this. It’s really
made my day thanks!

lady providing backing vocals, who is anouther friend. you sounded great
