You stretch the EB cable if its pulled up and you jack up the front, and if
you jack up the back there is no reason to have the EB engaged, or have it
in gear. I pull the EB and put in gear after I have it on ramps, and if its
on stands then its pointless. You should always jack it up from the center
jack points from the front or rear, the side will tear, bend and break
stuff. Always read instructions to find jack points before acting like you
know what your doing.

Sweet. Thanks for posting !

Seems a bit of a fuss, i used to take the easy option: Unless your fat
(which would cancel out the lightweight benefits of a Lotus) you can do an
oil change and exhaust swap by straddling one side of the car over a
roadside curb or some house bricks.

Awesome! And I love your paint scheme.

Matthew Jorgenson says:

When you have a lotus, a jack is a waste of money. Just lift the car with
your arms on to the stands.

Great video Roger. Maybe the tire shop I took the Lotus to can watch this.
They wanted to use to floor jacks to lift the whole car at one time.
HAHAHAHA. To do that you have to know the exact center point and that’s not
the sticker location under the car. Only a ture Lotus driver will know that
information. First person to guess what the plate means (that does not know
Roger) wins a free ride with The Drivers Edge paid for by Elise 171.

Is it an acronym for a race track?

Ben U says:

Another option, especially if you are doing any work on the car, and will
need to remove the diffuser is to use the helper to get the rear up, remove
the underpanel, and place jack stands @ the two jack points that are hidden
by the underpanel. Their locations are noted in the owners manual. To make
them more obvious in the future you can also contact Chuforia Graphix for
some stickers.

Horse mess says:

This would not work with a carbon diffuser. Thanks for the information! Did
you get the other stands from S111?

Funny the shop I use has a rig that you drive the Elise onto that raises
the car from the actual tire.

Zeke Ray says:

Do you Even lift Bro?

Christopher Holmes says:

Nice one. I always just just work on mine one side (using a jack) or one
end (using ramps) at a time.

Kamil Gregorczyk says:

Ok, now only what i need is a lotus elise

n911y says:

do you trust those rv jacks? it’s just secured by a nut.

Luca Lüchinger says:
