If you need to watch a video on ‘how to’ install a BBK… you shouldn’t own
your car…
Spending 3k+ on a BBK and not even know how to install a basic and simple
upgrade? Oi…
Dang! Nice video and all that but how is she so well off that she can just
leisurely buy another set of wheel–that’s extremely expensive lol.
Nonetheless, very informative video!
like the ce28s but just not a good combo with the s2k IN MY OPINION.
nice car and setup u got there tho.
wifey fersure.
Spoons subframe rigid collars. Are they worth it?
omg can she install a gf just like her on my life?
Amazing job on the car so far Karla (and Rob), the RPF1’s would have looked
sexy with the big brake kit. The CE28’s are still gorgeous wheels though,
good choice. When it comes to what to do next, there’s too many ideas in my
head. The obvious is the supercharger, but you could also do cams,
valvetrain, intake, exhaust, and fuel injectors for the motor without
removing it. Forged internals are a must eventually. I’d also do some more
suspension, like sway bars in the front and rear, strut bars in the front
and rear, and some chassis bracing to stiffen the car through corners. The
last thing I’d do is more aerodynamics. I’d recommend some sort of front
and rear splitters to help with downforce and work with the wing to help
with stability at high speeds. A little extra thing you could add is an
offset vinyl stripe and lug nuts of the same color to give the whip a bit
of flare.
Love the channel, keep up the awesome vids.
I like your videos keep em coming! (:
I’ve done this myself already but can say this is one of the best tutorials
for this task on the S2000 on youtube. Well done!
…however! I only changed the rotors so I rested the callipers on jack
stands and left the brake lines connected. My calliper screws though were
so seized up I had to torch it loose… so for those with older AP1s like
me… a propane torch may also help.:)
I love this girl…
I have never heard of pressing the brake pedal down before removing the
brake lines. How does that work, and why does it stop the fluid running
out?
I’ve never heard of the Alcon BBK for the S2000, I wonder how it compares
with the Stoptech or AP Racing kits. I just picked up a stoptech kit myself.
I also own two black S2000s. 02 for the track and CR for the street. :)
Awesome video again. Good content and also good choice in beer. I swear I
saw a Blue Moon somewhere on the yellow arm of the lift at around 12 mins.
:)

Did you safety wire the rotors? It would be a shame if it separated while
at the track.
